At the Redmond Town Center…

A very cold trip to the dog park after Thanksgiving… Scroll down for videos!

I don’t have any pictures from our dinner, but here are are a few from our morning trip to Starbucks. I can’t even remember now why we went – must have been out running an errand… Oh, that’s right – on our way back from picking up tarts at Quynh’s house!

Fooling around with daddy before school…

Walking to the bus stop (across the street) with daddy. If it’s raining, Chris brings the huge sports umbrella to shelter more kids. Cute!

Special day – I met up with Vada at her school for lunch. School lunch sure has come a long way since I was a kid! They have a special debit-card-like system, and the food looked great. Vada had pancakes, and I had the teriyaki beef and rice. Yum!

Another play, but this time it’s “The Princess and the Pea”. I got to chaperone, and I loved hanging out with Vada and her buddies. I got to ride the school bus too!
That’s her teacher on the right. She really is that young and cute! But she knows her stuff, and the kids love her.

We went with Emma and her family to see “The Boy Who Cried Wolf”. Her favorite actor was “the boy”, who was actually played by a girl – she did a great job, because Vada seriously thought she was a boy!

Later that afternoon… Too much excitement!

I’m trying out some new blogging software, hoping that it will be easier to use, which will hopefully lead to more frequent posting. For now, let’s catch up…
From Taylor’s birthday party at the neighborhood bowling alley.

Oh my gosh, Vada had a great time! She wanted something a little more scary this year, and picked out a “Spiderella” costume. So, still a princess, but a scary princess! First there was the school parade and class party…
And then we added a little makeup (creepy!) and went to the party at daddy’s work. There was a haunted hallway (and Vada was very brave to go through it!), and face painting, and a balloon artist who made her a balloon spider to wear on her arm like a pet (awesome!).
After the work party, we went trick-or-treating with Emma and her family. We forgot the camera, but Chris took some pics and video with his cellphone – I’ll add those later.
Happy halloween!!
