I found this shirt at a garage sale a few weeks ago, and of course I brought it home.   Doesn’t she look great in maroon?

We had a fantastic trip down to Bandon to visit with Grandma Lila and Grandpa Will.  The beach was awesome!

We already can’t wait to go back!!

We’re heading out of town today, to visit Grandma Lila and Grandpa Will.  Vada is so excited!!  We’ll have lots of pictures when we get back!

From a couple weeks ago…

This was from a field trip this morning – I tagged along with them for a trip to the Kirkland library.

And this was from last fall, when they went to the farm just before Halloween – I forgot they had sent me the picture!

It’s rare, but every once in a while, Vada entertains herself for a few moments. 

We had another little milestone moment last week – Vada drew on the wall for the very first time!    Luckily it was in washable marker, so it came off easily.   I wish I’d taken a picture of it first, but I was more focused on the discipline aspect.   We asked her if she did it, and she said no, it was her brother.   Too funny!

A little bit of coloring on the kitchen floor after breakfast…

Ice cream after dinner – yum!  I thought she’d pick something pink or with sprinkles, but she surprised me with orange sherbet.  Just when you think you have them figured out…
