Vada has a few “best friends” around the house. First it was the ceiling fans (so hypnotic!). Then she added the jade plant (so delicate!) and the big chrome rack in the kitchen (so shiny, so big, so full of junk!). Now it’s the wind chimes outside. Whenever she’s upset, we can pick her up and take her outside, and she immediately starts waving her little arms up, wanting to play with them.
Today is the first day of fall, and it’s simply beautiful. 80 degrees, sunny and breezy. I couldn’t resist bringing Vada out to lay in the sun for some naked baby pix. Check these out!
And here’s Chris and V in the hammock again. I got some cuter shots, but I loved Vada’s expression in this one. 
Quentin came all the way from New Zealand, just to meet Vada! Okay, okay – he really came out here for work. But I’m just sure he’d say that the highlight of his trip was hanging out with our little sweet-pea…
Finally, I get a chance to chill in the hammock with Vada! After a long day of “working from home”, it was nice to commute to the back yard and just watch the world go by for a while.
