This morning we went back to the Japanese gardens for a little stroll. Love having a membership there!  Afterwards, we went out for brunch, yum!

In the afternoon, the blooming daffodils inspired me to take some more “glamour” shots of Vada, like I did when she was a week old. I think I’ll somehow combine them for a birthday email message when she turns 1 (only a couple weeks away! holy cow!).

Chris said this kerchief makes Vada look like “Rosie the Riveter”…

Chris’ friend Chris Walker gave us this onesie, and we love it. We’ll be so sad when she finally outgrows it!

She’s sort of working at pulling up on stuff, but not all the way to standing yet… But kneeling is half way there!

Thank goodness for the warmer weather! It’s a beautiful day, just perfect for a trip to the park! This was Vada’s second time on a swing, and she loved it (last time, not so much).

Just in time for Vada’s 11 month birthday… I found her this sweet little piano toy at a rummage sale. She loves it! She especially loves flipping the single “page” of music at the top, which makes me wonder if she might love books more than music. No matter, this is just step one in my evil plan to make her the musician in the family. Still plenty of time for those violin lessons later…
