Vada’s grown quite attached to her lovey (thanks Carol, wherever you are!). I bought two more on ebay, one for daycare and one for a backup. Somehow, I still feel the urge to buy more…

doing laps
I picked up this well-loved walker at a garage sale last weekend. Vada caught on really quick, and has a great time walking around the back patio with it. I can’t wait until she figures out how to turn the darn thing!

learning to walk
Vada’s been obsessed with learning to walk lately. Every chance she gets, she’s grabbing fingers to hold onto as she pulls herself up to practice standing and shuffling around.
Of course, even that isn’t as fun as playing with the cellphone…

happy father’s day!
Happy father’s day to Chris, and to Dan & Will and all you other fathers out there! We celebrated by going to a beer festival that was in the state park that’s just a mile or so from our house. It was chilly fun!
