Guess who likes nectarines?

We dug out a box of toys that had been packed up, and the little pop-up toy really captured Vada’s attention for a couple days (until she had mastered it, of course).

Grandma Jolane sent her these cute kitty ears, along with a bunch of great clothes. Yay!

Vada wonders why her heart (made at daycare) isn’t included in our valentine’s garland. Maybe I’ll add it next year…

She loves to color! When Grandma Claudia was here, she showed her how to trace around her hand, and now she tries to do that all the time. She doesn’t quite get it, though – she puts her hand down, and just stares at it, like it’s supposed to draw itself! I laugh, and then I help her out. She’ll get it one of these days.

Vada’s favorite gift? This tiny duckie. She loves this guy, and totes him all over the house!

Grandpa Dan and Grandma Claudia came for a visit! They brought all sorts of fun toys and clothes for Vada, and did all sorts of helpful things around the house, like hanging this swing on the back porch. It’s awsome!!

Our friends Coady and Kari are visiting this weekend, so we took them to the Kubota Japanese gardens. It’s really different from the Portland or Seattle ones – much more expansive (27 acres!), and they allow dogs! Great place to go for a long stroll or a picnic.

I tried really hard to get a good picture of Vada this morning, without the darn binkie. But she just wouldn’t give it up. That girl is tenacious!

Vada really likes this dump truck. She had fun today trying to shove various stuffed animals into it…
