It was Chris’ birthday yesterday, and we celebrated by going out for dinner at Outback. We forgot the camera (again!) but Chris took this pic with his iPhone…

Only a light dusting this time, thank goodness!  Chris taught Vada how to catch snowflakes on her tongue.  So cute!

Vada had a fun day yesterday – a birthday party for Logan (sorry no pics – we forgot the camera!), then some staying out of the way while we cooked dinner….

and then Holly came over to play!  It took them about an hour to warm up, but they got some actual playing on finally.  Yay!

Sometimes it takes a little extra something to convince Vada to take her medicine in the morning.  This time it had to be under the umbrella!

We went to REI, and Vada was really excited about the bikes.  Maybe when it warms up a bit…

Check out her awesome hairdo!  She only let me do it because it was "like Makenzie!" (a friend in Portland – my friend Suzette is a genius with her hair!).
