I could not believe my eyes this morning – more snow!  Only a few inches this time, and I’m sure it will melt quickly.  But still!  Snow!  Arg! 

On the up side, Vada and I are heading to Nashville tomorrow to visit with my old college buddy Erika and her two daughters.   I can’t wait to see them!   And I think it will be slightly warmer there.

I finished my very first ever quilt last week.  It’s just a little doll quilt for Vada, and I plan to make a matching pillow with pillow case one of these days.  She’s not very impressed by it, but I’m pretty pleased with myself!   

In the midst of all the craziness of last week, I managed to make Vada a special valentine’s day shirt.  It’s a sort of kimono-wrap style thing, and it turned out pretty cute.  She refused to wear it on Saturday, but I tried again on Sunday and she put up with it.  I really tried to get a good shot of it, but this was the best I could do…

Playing a new game with daddy – something about pet spiders…  The shirt is one from Grandma Lila’s friend Ginger.  Thanks again!

Off to the mall for some girl time.  First we played the ponies…

Then we went for a spin in a fast car…

And then we went to a posh restaurant for a gourmet meal.  Okay, just a mini cupcake. 

Sorry for not updating the blog sooner – Vada’s leg is fine (we had a checkup on Friday afternoon and got the all clear), but she caught a little bug at the end of the week, and was home sick on Thursday and Friday.  She was all better by Saturday, thank goodness.  She and Chris even went back to the Little Gym that morning!  Yay!
