Our neighbor Nathan was visiting when the ice cream van came by. Oh man, what fun!
Vada adores him, as you can tell! But she also loved that Sponge Bob popsicle!!
Ah, the sugar high!!! By the way, that big owie on her forehead is from falling off the swing at daycare… It didn’t seem to phase her too much - and I’m glad she’s getting more adventurous, even if it comes with more booboos.

We went back to the water spray park (we call it the “whale park”, for obvious reasons) on Sunday, and they had the water going. Cool!! Vada had a great time collecting water in a cup and watering the plants…
She also picked up every tiny bit of rubbish that she saw. I think we’re raising a little environmentalist.
Horsing around with Chris…

Check this out!
Vada wrote this all by herself! Okay, it’s sort of a fluke, because the version before this was “AAMM”. But still, she can write a pretty good “M”, and a pretty good “A”. Man, I love her new daycare!
And check this out – the best $3 I’ve spent at a garage sale lately – it’s like a “sit-n-spin” built for two! Now we just need to invite over a playmate…
And lastly, some cute pictures with Daddy, in the hammock. We’ve been having some awesome weather!

A little exercise…
some breakfast and motor skill practice (cutting)…
and finally, some art… It’s great to be 3!

Vada throws the pine cone while Daddy has his eyes closed, and then Daddy has to find it. Switch places, and repeat, repeat, repeat… Fun!

Vada and I spent the afternoon with Robin and Logan at the beach (the husbands had to work, because of a big looming deadline). It was beautiful weather, and the beach was packed. Vada had a blast playing in the sand again.

This would have been a great shot if it had been in focus! Rats!

We went back to our favorite conveyor belt sushi place in Kirkland for dinner. Vada loved to play in the fountain again, only this time she wanted to get in!
It was all great until she fell down in the water and got soaked.
Luckily we at least had her pants and a spare jacket! After the fountain, we went to the nearby beach park.
