This is how Vada and I amused ourselves on Saturday while Chris was in Portland…
First we went garage saling, and picked up this little princess chair for Vada. Here she is trying it out on the back porch.

And then we went to a new park. It was fun, but so hot!
On the way home, we hit up Dairy Queen for dilly bars – yum!!
I picked up these fancy bubble wands at the Father’s Day beer festival, and they are so much fun! We lured the neighbor kids over to play the other day…
Did I mention it was hot last weekend? Looks like we’re in for another scorcher this week… Perfect popsicle weather!

Here are some pics from last weekend, when we went down to Portland for a wedding. Before we left town, we met up with Vada’s daycare gang, on a field trip to the blueberry farm. It was so sunny and hot!

I love her crazy hair after the braid came out. Vada inherited this pair of slippers from Makenzie – sweet!
Vada started swim lessons this week. She was really excited about it! The first day, she did okay, but declined to let the instructor “swim” her around the pool. The second day, she was all for it! I love to see her conquer her fears. 
When we got home, we visited with the neighbors a little bit. They have a trampoline, and the static electricity it generates does crazy things to Vada’s fine hair!
Okay, I think I’m all caught up now. Sorry for not posting in so long!!!
Vada’s tooth is definitely gray now, but I hope this is as bad as it will look. I’m still crossing my fingers that it fades over time.
