We’re back from another whirlwind trip to Portland.  Here are some pics from Friday at Suzette’s place…

And here we are on Saturday, at Jen’s place in Eugene, for her annual Potato Fest party.   It was a blast!

My favorite picture of the whole weekend!  I was having problems with the camera (hence the frown), but Vada was being such a ham.  I just love our expressions!

The pretend pouty face…  I’m not sure what this was about, but I thought it was a cute picture anyway…

Vada got a package from Grandma Jo, yay!

Our basil plants are still going strong.   I love it when Vada picks the leaves and eats them!

Cute hairdo, huh?  She asked for something “princess mermaid”, and that was the best I could come up with.

On the drive home, Vada said she wanted a smoothie with strawberries and basil.  Okay! 

It tasted about as yucky as it sounded, but she and Chris drank it!

Vada talked Chris into sitting with her in the reading nook.  We put “Rufus” (the big stuffed dog) over there for her to sit on, and she loves it!

Have you noticed that Vada’s tooth is looking better?   It’s definitely lightening up!   Even if it doesn’t get completely back to normal, at least it’s not so noticeable now.

Vada picked out this dress, and at first I said no – it’s too fancy!  And then I quickly reconsidered, and said what the heck!  She’ll outgrow it before we have another wedding to go to…  And doesn’t she look so cute and old fashioned in it?
