Vada’s favorite part is throwing rocks into the river…
Pretty crazy outfit, I know. It was cold that day!
This is her “big smile”. Love it!

We played tourist today, and went to visit Snoqualmie Falls. It was impressive, but SO windy and cold!
Time to open presents!
So many fun things from Uncle Michael – a kaleidoscope…
Awesome real feather wings!
A hello kitty outfit from Grandma Jo!
A complete Snow White ensemble from Uncle Damian and Aunt Kathy!
A “Tag” reading device from Santa…
And so much more – sorry we didn’t get pictures of everything! Thanks everyone for all the awesome gifts!
In the evening, we tried out the Bellevue Botanical Garden’s display of lights. It was fantastic!
Happy holidays!!!
The day started off with me baking cookies, while Chris and Vada decorated the gingerbread house. Chris wasn’t so into it, can you tell?
But it turned out cute, and Vada loved it (and the candy, of course!).
And then we went for a little trip to the park…
After that, we had dinner, watched a show, opened one present (pajamas!), and went to bed. Most boring Christmas eve ever!
On Wednesday, Vada got to wear her pajamas to school. The Santa ones seemed most appropriate! After school, she had fun opening the packages that had arrived that day…
I tried to “interview” her about Santa, but she was a little focused on the bribe that was right next to her. Maybe next year.
We took Vada to a play center for a “craft night”. We made one frame and one little ornament before she ran out of attention span.
