Vada asked to have her room painted  – pink, of course!  To keep her distracted for a few minutes, we let her draw on the wall…

Do you see the rhinoceros down at the bottom?  That was for daddy!  Here’s a close up…

Unfortunately, we had didn’t adequately communicate that the drawing was to be PAINTED OVER.  Oh, the drama that ensued!

But a little “playing rhino” with daddy helped a little bit…

We couldn’t do just pink (I always have to make things complicated, sorry Chris!).  Ever since we moved in, I’ve had an idea of a two-color wall with a swirl between.  We’ve got the colors down, and I’ll be free-handing the swirls on top.   I just hope I get them done before she’s a teen and wants to paint the whole thing over with black!

They had a visit from the fire department a couple weeks ago.  Fun!

Here’s another picture from Vada’s daycare, from a couple weeks ago.  That’s Vada’s buddy Taylor on the right.   Whenever we ask who she’s been playing with, it’s always Taylor.  For the last few days, they have been playing “twins” when they go outside.  I’m not sure what all that entails, but it must be fun!

Friday morning, we made valentines to take to school.  Nothing like waiting til the last minute!

And then there was much goofing around getting ready…

Vada loves the lady who teaches her “computer class” at daycare on Thursdays.  She made her a special valentine…  Oh, and check out the shoes (they’re mama’s).

I found this shirt at a garage sale a few weeks ago, and of course I brought it home.   Doesn’t she look great in maroon?

We had a fantastic trip down to Bandon to visit with Grandma Lila and Grandpa Will.  The beach was awesome!

We already can’t wait to go back!!
